‘Jar’ Fills September
Sept. ‘08 - D.P. Gregg Alan Easterbrook and Dir. Mark Young are currently shooting the indie thriller The Killing Jar in Charlotte, North Carolina. In TKJ, a stranger armed with a shotgun takes seven patrons hostage at a remote roadside diner. The survivors discover that one of the hostages might be more dangerous than their captor. TKJ stars Michael Madsen, Harold Perrineau, Danny Trejo, Amber Benson, and Jake Busey, among others. The production is already garnering press attention (The Hollywood Reporter, Empire, Bloody-Disgusting.com, Cinematical). Buzz is building around the remarkable cast, the intriguing script, and the fact that Gregg is shooting the film on the amazing Arriflex D-21, arguably the finest digital motion picture camera system in the world today. Should be great!
IFC Films Goes ‘Gothic’
June ’08 - Southern Gothic, directed by Mark Young and shot by D.P. Gregg Alan Easterbrook, has been picked up by IFC Films and will screen on the IFC Channel. Also, look for it soon nationally as a Blockbuster Exclusive. The film was recently screened at the renowned South-by-Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX.

May ‘08 - D.P. Gregg Alan Easterbrook and Dir. Mark Young are readying The Killing Jar for a Fall start in North Carolina. TKJ is an intense psychological drama in the vein of No Country for Old Men and Reservoir Dogs.

‘Tooth’ Comes Out
March ‘08 - Post-apocalyptic thriller Tooth & Nail, lensed by D.P. Gregg Alan Easterbrook and starring Michael Madsen, Rider Strong, Vinnie Jones and Robert Carradine, arrived in stores from Lionsgate Home Entertainment March 18th, following a successful November run in theaters via After Dark Films.
